Jordan was part of our 10 day trip to the Middle East in early 2020. Unfortunately, since then, visiting the country has been difficult first due to the pandemic, then because of the instability in the region.

We can’t say we’re experts on the country, having been there just a few days, but we absolutely loved the full Petra and Wadi Rum experience. everything. Petra is every bit as monumental as the photographs suggest. But not just the famous Treasury, the entire complex and the surrounding landscape are worth exploring at your own pace.

Further south, the Wadi Rum desert was one of the finest experiences we had anywhere in the world. Sleeping under the stars in the middle of the desert will be a long lasting memory.
